Dear All:   We spent the entire day sightseeing with a visit to the beaches of Normandy and the famous cemetery at Omaha Beach.  Unfortunately the day became rainy and cold but our guide said it just gave us a better realization of what our soldiers endured on D-Day.  It ws very emotional and the French to this day still appreciate the US soldiers for what they did in helping to liberate France from Hitler.  I think Lexi is now in second place as far as pictures are concerned as dad had his camera going constantly.  I bought a great book for grandpa with reference to the North Africa invasion that grandpa was part of.  Hope all is well....we miss you.  Love, Kathy
