Idaho Falls Sep 2011 by Linn Vander Molen

Hi Everyone,
Lisa and I had a successful trip to Idaho Falls to visit Basic American Foods.

Here are a few pictures of Idaho at it's finest!!

Rupe's Burgers was featured in USA Today and Ernie saw it!

We visited the Idaho Potato Museum. Amazing! HAHAHAHAHAHA

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn and the grounds are beautiful!! It's right on
the Snake River and beautiful scenery. They have a new sun deck with outdoor
fireplace, comfy seating, bar in the evenings and looks right out on the river.
I had the room that they upgrade our VIPs to. It has a full private patio with
patio seating. You cannot confirm it but if you have board members or VIPs
you can email and they will note that if it's available they will upgrade your
clients. All rooms have sleep number beds, microwave, minifridge, lots of
plug-ins for your laptop, ipod, phone, etc. BAF employees get a breakfast
coupon for full, cooked-to-order breakfast, free wi-fi-, fee parking (it's Idaho
of course!) and it's the nicest place in town, bar none!

Oh... and the Harley Davidson store is right next door to the Walmart. Whoop
whoop! My brother and husband would never leave that block!!

Delta was fine. Flights were on-time. The construction on I-5 headed to and
from the airport was ridiculous. At 10pm it took me 2 hours to get from the
airport to Tracy because it was down to 1 lane and 1/2 into the median because
of the construction project. I know Willow had issues getting to the airport yest-
erday morning too so plan for lots of extra time to get to SMF!!

I always stay at the Courtyard in Natomas and leave my car there. Use your
Marriott coupons and it's $56 including tax and parking and shuttle. They give
complimentary parking sometimes, othertimes it's $10-$!5 per day BUT they
told me that if you don't tell them that you are leaving your car there, they would
never know and it's fine!! There shuttle runs every hour on the 1/2 hour and
it's a great option for a park n fly.

Over and out!
Linn
